The family headed up North to Sudbury this weekend for cousin Matthew's baptism. The drive was long (made longer by Papa and GPS - haha) but Ella did so well. She played and slept throughout the ride (there and back). She enjoyed going to Church and to the party afterwards. She loved to make new friends. She continues to be extremely social and loves to say 'hi' to everyone. She got to see "Maa" (Matthew, aka "Buddy" for Ella), Uncle "Dew" (Andrew) and Auntie "Ly" (Lisa). Auntie Lisa bought Ella a shirt that said, "My Auntie is my BFF". We will have to get a picture of that one. Ella also spent lots of time with her beloved Oma. She also learned to say "Wayne" (Lisa's father) and even permitted Lisa's brother Mark to hold her. She practised her walking - although, it's clear that she wants to run now instead. She is a true social butterfly and is no longer the shy girl she one was. We were amused by her all weekend.
Here she is, having her first sit on a Harley. Matthew didn't seem too happy riding in the back. Both kids were really content yesterday though. It was a busy, but fun couple of days.
Holy jumpin', that is a cute picture! Hus to all of you!
ReplyDeletePS - Where did Auntie get that tee? I must get one for Avery!
